The Tartan Army Children’s Charity (TACC) are delighted to partnering with Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales. Bobath are a registered charity that provides specialist therapy to children throughout Wales who have cerebral palsy.

Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales provides bespoke physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. Bobath therapists are state-registered and work together as a team to combine these disciplines to give each child the skills to explore their world, communicate their needs, maximise their potential and so improve their quality of life.

At a recent visit to Bobath Scotland TACC witnessed the life changing effects of Bobath therapy and are delighted to support an organization who focus on ability and not disability.

It is estimated that there are around 1800 children in Wales with cerebral palsy and Bobath Wales works with over 450 of them. TACC’s £5000 donation will help more children access this life changing therapy.

Gail Griffiths from Bobath Wales said “Our mission is to deliver world class Bobath therapy to as many children with cerebral palsy in Wales as possible and we are delighted that the Tartan Army Children’s Charity have chosen to support our work. It means so much to the children and their families, thank you!”

The cheque presentation and therapy centre visit will take place on Friday 12th October between 1015am & 1130am at Bobath's Cardiff HQ.
