2011 Macedonia Print E-mail

TACC always tries to remain in contact with the worthy causes we have supported during our travels. On the lead up to Christmas 2011 we received a message from Snezana in Macedonia. Snezana is a day care centre for street children.

Once again Snezana talked through the challenges being faced to ensure that even the basic welfare of the children they support was being met. TACC wanted to continue to show our support and pledged to donate £5000 to improve the lives of the children who use the center.

Snezana asked for the most basic of items such as shoes, towels, toiletries, clothes and school equipment. These may seem insignificant to us but these basic supplies and items make a significant difference to the children.

In addition to these items the school have also been able to purchase a Boiler, Washing Machine and make some much needed repairs to the centre.

We are grateful to the British Embassy who, once again, lent a hand to ensure that all of the items the school needed were purchased and delivered to them.

Thanks to TACC supporters we continue to be able to improve the lives of children.
