Scotland v Iceland

my_first_scotland_match_smc1On Wednesday 1st of April me and Billy, my crannog worker went to Hampden park to watch Scotland v Iceland.

We went in Billy’s car and we got a bit lost in Glasgow. It was a cold night I was feeling exited because I had never been to a Scotland match before.  I was looking forward to seeing Scotland win. There were a lot of Scotland fans but there was only about 100 Iceland. And you couldn’t even hear them shout when they scored .When Scotland scored the crowd was loud and it felt good to be part of the fans. Scotland’s Ross McCormack scored first and then Iceland scored next. But not soon after Steven Fletcher scored the winning goal.

The last couple of minutes were frightening because Iceland had their chances to score.

This was a really good night for me and I would like to thank the tartan army for giving me the chance to go.
