Through TACC Scotland’s supporters have donated hundreds of thousands of pound to children overseas – but at Christmas we ask everyone to dig deep and brighten up the lives of Scottish children!
This year we are delighted to announce that once again we have hit our target for the Christmas Present Appeal. Thanks to your support £10,000 has been raised to buy Christmas presents for 580 disadvantaged children supported by:
- Aberlour Child Care Trust, who have 40 services across Scotland
- Time4us in Falkirk
Thank you for your donations. Christmas Day will once again be just that little bit better for hundreds of children because of your support.

Through TACC, Scotland’s supporters have donated hundreds of thousands of pound to children overseas – but at Christmas we ask everyone to dig deep and brighten up the lives of Scottish children!
TACC have teamed up with partner charity Aberlour Child Care Trust to bring a little bit of Tartan Army cheer to disadvantaged children around Scotland.
We asked Aberlour to nominate several centres around Scotland and ask the children for their Santa lists.
In 2008, Scotland supporters then donated over £3,000, with TACC topping the donation up to £3,500!
In 2009, the Christmas Present Appeal continued to grow. When starting the appeal TACC hoped to raise even more money. As ever the Tartan Army showed their generosity and donated over £4,000. TACC topped up this donation to £8,500!
In 2010, the appeal continued to grow. Thanks to the generosity of Scotland supporters, TACC were able to present a cheque for £10,000 to Aberlour Child Care Trust in 2010.

Thanks to the generosity of Scotland supporters, TACC were able to present a cheque for £10,000 to Aberlour Child Care Trust in 2010.
The cheque was presented to Aberlour during a Christmas party in Falkirk for over 100 of the children involved.
The grant was used to buy Christmas presents for more than 700 disadvantaged children in Scotland.
Many thanks to everyone who made a donation, it was a fantastic effort to a great cause.

We're delighted to announce that TACC donated £8,500 of Christmas presents for children supported by Aberlour Child Care Trust.
Supporters donated a massive £4,000 which TACC matched so that every child on the list got a present from us.
Many thanks to everyone who made a donation, it was a fantastic effort to a great cause.

Aberlour supports children with disabilities, affected by parental drug and alcohol use, and with social, educational, emotional and behavioural difficulties, including children who have runaway from home.
