The Tartan Army Children’s Charity are delighted to announce a new partnership with Includem to bring a family Christmas to 200 of Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities this Christmas.

TACC are delighted to be supporting Includem with £10,000 to help the most disadvantaged families across Scotland enjoy a Family Christmas. Includem’s national team of specialist workers will work with families to identify what is required to make a family Christmas and support the families with the TACC funding to make this a reality.

Whether it’s their first ever Christmas dinner, a present for the kids, a trip to see Santa or a family day out the focus of the project is to enable families to enjoy Christmas together and have something to look forward to in what can be a very difficult time.

Ally Hunter from TACC said “On behalf of the Tartan Army we are delighted to working with Includem to make a massive difference to Scotland’s most disadvantaged families at this special time of year. Christmas should be about family, fun and festive cheer but for Scotland’s most vulnerable families it can be very difficult and desperate time.  We are delighted to be working with Includem to bring a little bit of joy to children and families who need our support most”

Angela Morgan, Chief Executive of Includem said: “"On behalf of the young people at Includem I would like to thank the Tartan Army Children's Charity and their generous supporters for their extremely kind donation. We support Scotland's most vulnerable young people and Christmas can be a difficult time for some of them and their families. Many face economic and social hardship and lack even the basics that many of us take for granted. This generous donation will help to ensure they have a Christmas memory they will never forget."

You can support the appeal by visiting TACC's online shop and buying a present or experience that we will pass on to Includem.
