Scottish Senior Football Referees Association Gala Dinner

ssfra-logo

Referees aren’t always the bad guys!

Scotland’s referees are organising their first event national fundraising event and the Tartan Army Children’s Charity will be the sole beneficiary of their efforts. For many years, referees in Scotland have raised money for good causes. This charitable fundraising tends to take the form of local Referees Associations completing a physical challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, running a half-marathon, cycling around Arran) and collecting sponsorship for a local charity. This time around, the referees have organised a charity auction.

Charity Silent Auction

Every penny raised from the auction will go straight into the funds of the Tartan Army Children’s Charity. The Charity Auction will conclude on the night of Friday 20th May at the 1st Scottish Cup Final Gala Dinner in the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow (see flyer for details of the event – Corporate tables may still be available). The Tartan Army Children’s Charity will be represented at the event and will be presented with the cheque from Martin Cryans, President of the Scottish Senior Football Referees Association. However, those not able to attend, can bid in the silent auction in advance, Click here to place a bid. The highest bids made on this Tartan Army Children’s Charity website will carry forward to the Gala Dinner, and if they are not bettered on the night, the lot will go to our highest bidder.
