TACC were delighted to give another donation of €2500 to CHEERing (https://cheering.eu/girls-football) who offer weekly football training to children in the Malakasa refugee camp.  The football coaches are Malakasa camp residents and CHEERing team members with international coaching and playing experience.  All the coaching team are first aid certified.

 

The donation will be used for sports shoes for the kids to play football in, healthy snacks for after training, supplies for their first aid kits and towards a vaccination and dental care programme for the kids.  The donation will also help the kids and their parents towards bus travel to the training which is around 90 mins away from the camp.
