As our brave lads took on the might of international footballing newbies Gibraltar at Hampden, TACC were delighted to introduce 10 very brave newbie supporters to their First Scotland Match. As usual, each child received a match ticket, a Scotland shirt, a Saltire flag and pocket money.
All our children came from the HUSH Club in Dundee and made the perilous trip to Glasgow on a very cold Sunday afternoon, with the assistance of a mini-bus provided by the generous assistance of the good folks from Sidlaw Travel and driver, Jamie Costello.
The Hush Club provides a brilliant support for children with additional needs and sensory issues up to the age of 16, by organising recreational facilities and offering support and guidance (emotional and practical) to the children, siblings and family. Development of social interaction and confidence is key to some of the work being done by the Hush Club.
“I would like to personally thank everyone from the Tartan Army Children’s Charity for an amazing day out. All the kids had a fantastic time and looked great in their new tops.” - Kirsten, Adam and Arran from the HUSH Club, Dundee
